Cookie Policy
How Scaletrics uses cookies

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work efficiently, remember sign-in state, and provide information to site owners about how their product is used. This policy covers cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) used on scaletrics.com and the Scaletrics dashboard.
Strictly necessary
A small set of cookies is required for the platform to function — they keep you signed in, remember which workspace you're viewing, and protect against common abuse like cross-site request forgery. These cookies cannot be disabled from within the product, but you can clear them at any time from your browser.
Preference
Preference cookies remember choices that personalize your experience without being essential — your selected theme, last-visited dashboard tab, and dismissed onboarding tooltips. Clearing them resets those preferences but does not sign you out.
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and features get used and where people get stuck. It is a third-party tool that is set only after you accept analytics cookies. It runs on our marketing site and not inside the authenticated dashboard, so it never captures your campaign data, search-term data, or Google Ads credentials. We do not sell this data.
Advertising
If we run our own Google Ads campaigns, we may use Google Ads conversion tracking on our marketing site to measure their performance. When active, these cookies are set only after you accept, and never on the authenticated dashboard. We do not embed the Facebook Pixel, and we do not sell your personal data to advertising networks.
Your control
When you first visit, we ask whether to enable analytics and advertising cookies — nothing optional is set until you accept. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. You can also clear or block cookies from any modern browser's privacy settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and break authenticated flows, while blocking optional cookies will not affect core functionality. Some browsers and extensions send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — we honor GPC as a request to keep optional analytics and advertising cookies off for that session.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy as the product evolves. Material changes are surfaced inside the dashboard the next time you sign in, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
